If you are a member of a recognised HEMA group or organisation then you may be entitled to a discounted club price. Just follow the steps below and you’ll be getting a discounted rate before long.
1. Your group has to be registered with us. We need the head of your group to contact us with a list of members within your group.
2. We will send our terms and conditions to your group leader. Once all required actions have been carried out, your group will be authorised for club discounts
3. You then need to set up an account on our site. This will only take a few minutes.
4. Contact us (email or phone) to let us know you have registered and tell us which group you are a member of.
5. We will then upgrade your account and prices will be automatically reduced when you log in.
What is a “recognised” HEMA club exactly?

If you are a member of one of the large umbrella groups such as HEMAC or the BHFS then your club would be deemed as “recognised”.

We do understand that not all groups are affiliated with the larger umbrella groups for one reason or another. If your club isn’t, we would like some evidence that you are a “real” club such as a website or insurance document.

If you are still unsure, please contact our Sales Team for further clarification.

This fencing jacket was designed with the help and suggestions of Axel Pettersson, to serve the needs of the Swedish schools of historical fencing ("Gothenburg Historical Fencing School" in particular). The jacket closes in front (see the picture) with the help of a zipper and velcro. On the front of the collar, there is a broad overlap which closes with velcro. The sleeves are specially designed for better arm movement. Also, there are additional protective layers on the chest, shoulders and elbows. The layers of fabric (from the outside) are: 1 layer of cotton, one protective layer, and 1 layer of lining. The jacket was tested at many seminars as well as one in Helsinki on 9-11.08.2011 lead by Axel Pettersson.

The jacket is made of fabrics which have a 350N puncture resistance certificate.

Improvements in the V2.0 jackets are:

• The construction of the jacket was strengthened.

• Outer fabric has been changed to obtain higher resistance. Basis weight of the fabric is now minimum 750g/m2.

• Zipper has been replaced by new, much stronger type.

Wasn't sure about a small or medium so went with medium and is the perfect fit.! Is a little shorter than I thought but does not ride up went arms are at full extension and I wear a skirt for hip protection anyway. Tempted to send back and order a brown one but I'm sure sweat and the English summer will fade it right enough.
The fabric that covers the zip could be wider and have velcro to protect the zip more but sure it will be fine. The collar works great with a gorget and really helps provide solid throat protection. The jacket is reasonably well padded where it needs to be and I am looking forward to a happy relationship with it .
