If you are a member of a recognised HEMA group or organisation then you may be entitled to a discounted club price. Just follow the steps below and you’ll be getting a discounted rate before long.
1. Your group has to be registered with us. We need the head of your group to contact us with a list of members within your group.
2. We will send our terms and conditions to your group leader. Once all required actions have been carried out, your group will be authorised for club discounts
3. You then need to set up an account on our site. This will only take a few minutes.
4. Contact us (email or phone) to let us know you have registered and tell us which group you are a member of.
5. We will then upgrade your account and prices will be automatically reduced when you log in.
What is a “recognised” HEMA club exactly?

If you are a member of one of the large umbrella groups such as HEMAC or the BHFS then your club would be deemed as “recognised”.

We do understand that not all groups are affiliated with the larger umbrella groups for one reason or another. If your club isn’t, we would like some evidence that you are a “real” club such as a website or insurance document.

If you are still unsure, please contact our Sales Team for further clarification.

Made from ecological leather, "Geko" Forearm Protectors, decrease the chances of getting injured during historical fencing training. They are very durable and are specially cambered to be as resistant as possible.

Even though these protectors look as if they are made of natural leather, no materials of animal origin have been used in the production. The material is quite easy in cleaning and maintenance.

Rubbers on the protectors ensure the proper setting and fitting to forearms. Thanks to the adjustable velcro straps, "Shell" Elbow Protectors can be mounted and fitted with the set.

These covers are a bit shorter and better fitted to the forearm's shape than the "Vectir" Forearm and Elbow Protectors, which ensures more comfortable usage.

Details

GEKO forearm overlays are designed for a visual and innovative change in relation to Vectir forearms. GEKO are shorter and made of a different material.

They will prove themselves during HEMA training, regardless of their intensity. They are universal, therefore they fit both women’s and men's forearms.

This set consists of two parts: GEKO forearms and Shell elbows. They are entirely made of black, resistant materials. They are fastened with velcro. They are also specially contoured, and the forearm pads additionally cover the hands on each side.

For the production of GEKO, whose outer material is deceptively similar to natural leather, no animal materials were used, which makes this product ecological. Shell elbows are made of polypropylene with a thickness of about 3 mm. Both products are connected to each other by a strong, oblong velcro. You can use them together or separately. The leather parts overlap the plastic elbow overlays, making the gaps not present.

Plastic inserts placed in the middle of the forearms increase resistance to possible damage.

The forearm and elbow overlays are a great compliment to your HEMA gear. They do not affect mobility during training and are comfortable to use. Their length makes it easy to move the wrist.

The integration with elbow cup is simple and works, they’re easy to put on and conform fairly well to the arm , but I found their smooth inner surface means they have a very slight tendency to creep forwards towards the hands a little bit, during an evening of very heavy sparring.on the whole I would recommend them. They work well with spes heavy gloves or the sparring gloves with hourglass cuff. (Posted on 29/06/2022)
