Product Description

The Go-Now “glass” rapier is a training rapier for historical HEMA fencing with a blade made of fiberglass and additionally protected with a layer of plastic. The blade has similar properties to a steel blade, but always returns to its original straight shape after bending. The pommel and crossguard are made of polished metal knobs.

The guard (basket) is made of durable 1mm thick sheet metal but it corrodes easily and requires care – drying from moisture and oiling if necessary. The crossguard is made of a hardened rod protected by a layer of plastic. The tip is made of flexible plastic.
