Fencing Jackets

We’ve been wondering for a long time what new unique line of gear we can prepare for our customers. After discussing our ideas and your requests we have decided to start the SUPERHERO line.

The Iron Light 350N model is our first proposition from the line. It came to existence thanks to votes of our customers from the Facebook group. Tony Stark and his armor in red & yellow was the most popular answer in our survey. Iron 350N jacket works the best on male silhouette. It is compatible with the overlays available in our webshop and you can use it with any type of simulator.

This multicolor gear has a very characteristic look referring to a high-tech robotic armor. All segments have additional stitches. There is a black trim on the front and mounting for additional overlays above the elbows. On the back there is an adjustable belt strap.

The jacket is made from the fabric of 350N puncture resistance. Its design, stuffing and lining refer to the well-known AP Light Plus model. It has a double-fastening and a collar with a bladecatcher. Despite its unusual look, the jacket is fully functional. The main features of this HEMA gear are its light weight and comfort of wearing, not hindering the movement during fight.

The idea for this armor in shades of gray came from creating the Iron jacket and delving into the world of comics. Using the solutions achieved in the production of PLUS series, we have created a unique AP Machine Light 350N jacket.

The jacket is kept in shades of gray and resembles modern, shiny robot armor. In the middle of the chest there is a distinctive diamond-shaped element that will distract the opponent during HEMA training. All segments are additionally stitched. There is a black trim on the front, and on the back at the waist - belt for adjustment.

AP Machine Light is made of 350N puncture-resistant materials. Its shape, filling and lining refer to AP Light Plus 350N. However, the design is similar to the Iron Light 350N. AP Machine Light 350N has a double fastening (velcro + zipper), and blade-catcher on the collar.

This jacket, despite its unusual look, is very comfortable and functional. Like AP Light, it is lightweight and doesn't cause loss of movement during HEMA training. In addition, in such a jacket you will certainly distract the opponent.

The Cadet NG 800N HEMA jacket is characterized by great durability and puncture resistance. Light, comfortable, and no restrictive the Cadet HEMA jacket is perfect for HEMA training and tournaments.

This HEMA jacket is characterised by an elegant combination of black colour with red details: binding on cuffs, blade catcher, and tape around the Canadian buttons.

The HEMA jacket has 800N puncture resistance, and nside you will find pockets with cushioning foam (on shoulders and torso), which can be easily modified by a user.

Thanks to its universality, this HEMA jacket can be worn by beginners, advanced sword fighters, and coaches. It is a perfect choice as regular gym or club equipment.

The aim of this project is to complete the market and fulfill the expectations of users fascinated by tradition and history.

This HEMA gambeson was designed for HEMAists, as well as for SCA, historical reenactment, Harnischfechten or HMB enthusiasts. If you want to add a strong medieval accent in your training - this gambeson is for you!

Still, it’s worth remembering to add some extra cushioning to it for the most demanding duels. The FG Historical Gambeson 800N model is fastened with 6 leather laces. Jacket reaches the mid-thigh area and it has side slits. The collar is also fastened with a lace on the side.

The outer layer of the jacket is 100% linen. What’s unique in this project is its inside. Between the linen layers this model has hidden panels which provide 800N puncture resistance. These are separated by stitches which slightly changes the functionality of this gambeson in comparison with standard HEMA jackets. What is more, it has a layer of recycled felt.

Like other versions of this HEMA gambeson, FG HISTORICAL is cut off at the body so that its lower part rests on the hips. The sleeves (sewn in deeply) consist of 2 elements and have gussets under the armpits. Natural fabrics make the stitchings more visible, emphasizing the male silhouette stronger than the standard version. 

This is one of the longest jackets in the SPES offer. It narrows toward the waist which makes it fit the body shape and emphasizes the male silhouette.

A clothing made from 350N puncture resistance fabric, stylized on the 8th-10th century kaftan reaching the knees. Our HEMA kaftan is dedicated to both light and intensive training. It can be a perfect choice for users recreating techniques of the Vikings or the history of Eastern Europe.

This HEMA kaftan has a blade catcher and asymmetrical tuck on the front, covering the double closure: a zipper and velcros. This solution increases the level of amorthization during training, as one of the closures breaks, the other keeps the kaftan together. Inside, on the torso and shoulders, there are pockets with additional foams. What’s unusual is that the kaftan does not have an adjustable strap on the back. It increases the freedom of movement during HEMA training and it gives an interesting look. NOTE - the kaftan has an additional amortization from the waist down!

This HEMA gear has a specific design - on the tuck, lower edge and sleeve edges you can notice a blue trim. What is more, this clothing does not have stitches on the outside. The Renaissance Doublet for HEMA came to existence with a view to meet the expectations of enthusiasts of HEMA jackets with a strong historical vibe. The design of our HEMA doublet refers to fencing doublets from the Renaissance period.

Renaissance HEMA Doublet is dedicated for HEMA training of light and medium intensity. Visually, it will perfectly match light simulators like saber, messer, or rapier. It makes a perfect set of HEMA gear with our pants: Meyer or Light.

Our HEMA doublet for women does not have visible stitching like the Master version. It has characteristic shoulder wings on sleeves and a segmented peplum. On the back it has an adjustable belt for better fitting to the waist. On the elbows it is equipped with mountings for Shell or  PRO overlays. The doublet is fastened with velcro and zipper.

Our interpretation of a Renaissance doublet is made from fabric of 350N puncture resistance. The peplum consists of 8 segments; the 2 on the front are slightly sheared. Jacket has a distance mesh lining. Just like our Attila jacket, the doublet has a front flap and special pockets with cushioning foams (included in the set).

The design of our HEMA doublet refers to historical examples of arming and fencing doublets. This means it is perfectly fitted to body shape, emphasizing its values. What is more, the wings on the sleeves visually expand the shoulders and the jacket slims the silhouette. Our doublet provides the comfort of wearing and a fancy look. This jacket also provides good mobility - don’t wait and check it yourself!
