The SPES heavy gloves, which revolutionized the market for sword fighting equipment, now have a new thumb. This means even greater versatility and efficiency during intense training sessions. The idea for this product is our original vision. The Lobster represents the pinnacle of achievement and an unparalleled standard created exclusively by SPES.

The Lobsters will perform exceptionally well in any case, regardless of your gender or level of advancement. They are designed to work with various types of swords, including longswords, Feders, as well as one- or two-handed simulators.

These gloves are not only stylish but also functional. The inner side of the hands is covered with black synthetic leather. All fingers are protected by plastic overlays connected using rivets and laces. The black cuff additionally features leather inserts. They fasten with adjustable straps at the wrists.

The key feature of this product is the remodeled, three-piece thumb, which has been specially designed from the base to the tip and on the sides to completely cover the finger. The gloves have been remodeled and adapted to the needs of HEMA practitioners so that the plastic elements completely overlap each other. The top element, the so-called shell, has been elongated and bent into the most ergonomic shape, covering the fingertips.

The cuffs with segments of faux leather and adjustable leather straps at the wrists ensure a perfect fit for the hands and guarantee that the gloves will stay in place even during the most intense training sessions. The cuff itself has been subtly modified, protecting the wrist at the point where the cuff joins the upper part of the glove. Additionally, the plastic elements are connected to it using new, more durable bindings - minimizing the likelihood of breakage during training. They won't break easily during HEMA sparring!

The Black Lobster 350N gloves are improved version of the iconic gloves, designed with cushioning, functionality, and comfort in mind for HEMA training. Based on the reliable solutions of the previous model, they introduce new, innovative features.

The Black Lobster gloves will meet expectations of both beginner and advanced HEMA practitioners. They are ideal for training with a Fechtfeder, but also work well with a Messer or a one-handed sword. The exterior of the gloves is covered with black plastic plates. Specially shaped black overlays are placed on both the thumb and the index finger. The cuffs are black both inside and outside. The inner side of the gloves features graphite eco-leather, and they are fastened with black straps at the wrists. The top of the gloves is covered with overlapping plastic plates made from durable polyethylene. These plates cover the hands and fingers from impact.

The Black Lobster introduces a new feature. The separation of the index finger from the rest of the glove allows for greater freedom and a stronger grip during training. A newly designed, three-piece articulated thumb provides better freedom of movement and improved stability.

The base material of the gloves has certified puncture resistance at the 350N level. The palm is lined with soft eco-leather for comfort and great breathability, even during extended training sessions. The cuff is fully optimized with an elastic fastening strap and plastic overlays that move smoothly with the wrist. The inner side element can be easily removed. The gloves are fastened with an adjustable leather strap, allowing for a perfect fit.

Thanks to innovative features such as the separated index finger, the three-piece thumb, and flexible wrist coverage, they offer full control over your training weapon, making them the ideal choice for any HEMA practitioner.

Mitten Gloves NG 800N has a characteristic design, which makes them stand out.

This model is dedicated for both advanced users and beginners. Their universal size makes them also appropriate for men and women.

Mitten gloves are designed for HEMA training of low intensity, especially with the use of one-handed simulators, like our SPES Sabre Blue. Mittens have only one separate finger - a thumb. They are made of black fabric, with synthetic grey leather on the inner side.

Gloves cover the whole hand with the wrist, closing the space between fingers. Our gloves are made from a composite of 800N puncture resistance. Additionally, they have a layer of felt and so-called “intelligent foam” with very good cushioning properties.

The simple design makes our Mittens comfortable and easy to use. Synthetic leather gives a convenient, secure grip.
