Based on the popular Tizona Cup-Hilt Spanish Rapier, Sparring Cup-Hilt Rapier is our spring steel sparring sword for HEMA practitioners who are looking for a sparring sword with smooth handling and good protection with the cup-hilt hand guard.

The design is symmetrical and good for both left and right handed practitioners. The spring steel blade has protective roll tip and temper to flex upon hitting the thrusting target to avoid injury.

Padded rapier made by Go Now. Blade made of soft foam to give you full safety during training. Outer fabric guarantees the long life of the product and high resistance to any damage to the blade.

Designed for thrusting practice, or for light training in pairs. Plastic hilt is covered with rubber for a stronger and more stable grip. Additional protection against hand injuries is given by the plastic guard.

As the name suggests, the Saber Big is big enough to accommodate even larger gloves whilst providing the full protection a cuphilt or a basket hilt on a saber can offer. All the hilt parts of SIGI Saber Big are heat treated and the saber will survive lots of abuse. The handle is designed for the most comfortable grip. The back of the handle has anti-slip support for a firmer grip (or a thumb grip if you prefer it).

When you need to get the job done, nothing quite beats the Regenyei Armory Tournament Sabre. It is built for full contact sparring and is also suitable for the rigours of tournament use. The blade is flexible enough for full-strength trusts, but because of its high durability, it won’t let you down in the middle of your most important fight. We will say that this blade is quite stiff though, so if you can avoid being hit by a thrust, do so! (but that’s kind of the point!).

The perforated guard is functional and decorative and robust enough to keep your hand safe. The wooden grip is cord wrapped and is capped by hexagon nut pommel, to allow for disassembly.
