If you are a member of a recognised HEMA group or organisation then you may be entitled to a discounted club price. Just follow the steps below and you’ll be getting a discounted rate before long.
1. Your group has to be registered with us. We need the head of your group to contact us with a list of members within your group.
2. We will send our terms and conditions to your group leader. Once all required actions have been carried out, your group will be authorised for club discounts
3. You then need to set up an account on our site. This will only take a few minutes.
4. Contact us (email or phone) to let us know you have registered and tell us which group you are a member of.
5. We will then upgrade your account and prices will be automatically reduced when you log in.
What is a “recognised” HEMA club exactly?

If you are a member of one of the large umbrella groups such as HEMAC or the BHFS then your club would be deemed as “recognised”.

We do understand that not all groups are affiliated with the larger umbrella groups for one reason or another. If your club isn’t, we would like some evidence that you are a “real” club such as a website or insurance document.

If you are still unsure, please contact our Sales Team for further clarification.

What products can I get discount on?

If you have carried out all of the steps above and have been accepted on to our Club Discount scheme then you will be eligible for discount on the HEMA gear here.

The advantages of this two handed training sword made of wood are obvious. On the one hand, the risk of injury is significantly lower. On the other, this wooden sword can withstand hard blows while your valuable steel sword is safe at home. Of course, even hardwood is not indestructible and can break along the grain, but this two handed training sword should be your first choice for practicing. The wheel pommel and crossguard are made of darker wood to emphasize that it looks like a sword from the 12th to 15th century.

The gladius was the sword of choice for the Roman legions, and many gladiators also chose to use the double-edged sword when they were fighting for their freedom and lives in the Colosseum.After a gladiator in ancient Rome had won his freedom, he was awarded a wooden gladius like this one, called a Rudis, as a symbol of his freedom. Our Rudis is a great retirement gift for military personnel or police officers.

Our training gladius is based on the classic Roman gladius and made entirely of hardwood. The pommel and guard are darker for visual interest. If you plan to use this wooden gladius as a training sword, be careful: the blade is made of wood but it does have a sharp point.
